Together with the unusual Huawei Pura X Max, Huawei today also unveiled the Pura 90 Pro Max, a flagship smartphone that stands out from all its competitors in terms of both its design and camera features. Huawei has opted for a gigantic, triangular camera module, while the IP69-certified and therefore water-resistant housing is available in five eye-catching colors.

With a height of 8.1 millimeters and a weight of 230 grams, the Pura 90 Pro Max is not particularly lightweight, but Huawei can install a 6,000 mAh battery, which can be charged via USB-C with 100 watts or wirelessly with 80 watts. The Huawei Pura 90 Pro Max has a 50 megapixel f/1.4 – 4.0 main camera with 1/1.28 inch sensor, a 40 MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle camera and a 200 MP f/2.6 periscope telephoto camera with 1/1.28 inch sensor, 4x zoom, OIS and macro mode. A dedicated sensor should enable a more accurate color reproduction.
