DJI has officially introduced the Mavic 4 Pro, a next-generation drone equipped with a new 100MP Hasselblad main sensor, dual telephoto cameras, and a unique Infinity Gimbal that allows full 360° rotation. Designed for aerial content creators, the Mavic 4 Pro promises improved flight time, smarter obstacle sensing, and industry-leading video quality.

Triple camera system with 100MP Hasselblad sensor

At the heart of the Mavic 4 Pro is a powerful triple camera setup with focal lengths of 28mm, 70mm, and 168mm. The main camera features a new 4/3 CMOS Hasselblad sensor capable of capturing 100MP stills. It also supports the Hasselblad Natural Colour Solution (HNCS) to deliver accurate and vibrant colours straight out of the camera. The variable f/2.0 to f/11 aperture supports creative effects such as starbursts and handles low-light conditions with ease.

The medium telephoto camera uses a 48MP 1/1.3-inch sensor with an f/2.8 aperture, enhanced by a new image processing engine. It enables tighter framing for cinematic portraits and dynamic shots. The 168mm telephoto lens uses a 50MP 1/1.5-inch sensor and a dedicated gimbal algorithm for long-range photography. The Mavic 4 Pro supports up to 6K/60fps HDR video through its main camera, with dynamic ranges reaching up to 16 stops. The medium and tele cameras deliver video with 14 and 13 stops of dynamic range respectively. To support a wide range of shooting needs, the drone records in 4K/60fps HDR across all cameras and supports high frame rates—up to 120fps—for slow-motion footage.

Each camera supports 10-bit D-Log, D-Log M, and HLG colour profiles to maintain consistent colour grading throughout a project. The highlight of the device is its new Infinity Gimbal, allowing full 360° rotation and 70° upward tilt. This opens up creative angles such as dramatic Dutch tilts or gravity-defying flight paths.

The drone is built for low-light operation, with six fisheye sensors capable of functioning in conditions as dim as 0.1 lux. Real-time vision positioning and map construction ensure accurate tracking and return-to-home even without GPS. Longer flights, smarter control,

DJI also introduced the new RC Pro 2 remote controller. It features a 7-inch Mini-LED display, rotatable screen for vertical shooting, HDMI port, 128GB internal storage, and a built-in microphone. The high-gain antenna system and 4-hour battery life make it a fitting companion for professional use.

The drone supports quick and efficient charging with the DJI 240W Power Adapter and Parallel Charging Hub, which prioritises lower-charged batteries first before switching to full parallel charging. It can also convert into a 100W power bank to charge other devices on location.

For creators who value convenience, the Mavic 4 Pro includes 64GB of internal storage in its standard edition. The Creator Combo offers 512GB of built-in SSD storage with ALL-I 4:2:2 encoded video support. DJI’s Quick Transfer function enables wireless file transfers up to 80MB/s via Wi-Fi 6 without powering on the drone.
