Adding more weight to these rumors, a new Samsung Magnetic Wireless Battery Pack with model number EB-U2500 has appeared in the Wireless Power Consortium database. Certified to support 15W Qi2 wireless charging, this will be Samsung’s first wireless power bank with built-in magnets. Likely to launch alongside the Galaxy S26, the accessory comes in a light gray finish and features a magnet ring, which should allow it to snap onto compatible smartphones for seamless wireless charging.
So far, only the HMD Skyline and the latest Google Pixel 10 series feature built-in magnets for proper Qi2 wireless charging. Google even released new Pixelsnap Qi2.2-compatible accessories alongside the Pixel 10, leaving Samsung a step behind. While the Korean giant remains quiet on adding magnets to its Galaxy phones, it has quietly been working on more Qi2.2 accessories.
